2023-PRESENT / York St John University Practice-Based PhD in Fine Art. Interdisciplinary study of Fine Art, Creative Writing and English Literature supervised by Dr Nathan Walker and Dr Caleb Klaces.
2021-2022 / University of York Master of Arts degree in Poetry and Poetics. Modules include ‘The Making of Modern Poems’, ‘Poetry and Poetics’, ‘Black Is/Black Ain’t’, and ‘Contemporary Women’s Writing’. The dissertation examines the poetic collaborations of Frank O’Hara, supervised by Dr Matthew Campbell.
2018-2021 / University of Bristol Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Modules of interest included ‘Literature 1900 – Present’, ‘Approaches to Poetry’, ‘Poetry of the 1960s’, ‘Creative Writing Poetry’ and ‘American Revolutions’. The extended dissertation examines the poetry of Frank O´Hara, supervised by Dr Stephen James.

PERSPECTIVES OF NATURE

Perspectives of Nature is a York St John University Post Graduate Research led multi-artistic event. Focused on showcasing different perspectives of nature through art, the event centres around the collaborative work Journey; nine musical interpretations of nature writer’s ‘10 minute perspectives’, created by composer Ewan East, creative writing group Naturewrights, and artist Alice Baxter. Alongside Journey, the event will feature musical performances, panels, guest speakers and opportunities for up-and-coming creatives to present their nature-related work. Taking place on 1st December 2023, 13:30-18:00, in the York St John University Creative Centre. Refreshments will be provided throughout the evening.
